Commercial Cleaning Services FAQs for Cottage Grove Businesses
Answers to questions we hear often from office managers and facilities coordinators in Washington County.
Do you serve Cottage Grove specifically, or is this a metro-wide service?
Our primary service area covers Cottage Grove and the surrounding communities within 25 miles, including Woodbury, Saint Paul Park, Newport, Hastings, Afton, Denmark Township, Grey Cloud Island, and Inver Grove Heights. We do not take accounts outside that radius because we can't staff them consistently.
What is your minimum account size?
We don't publish a square footage minimum, but realistically nightly commercial cleaning becomes economical for spaces over about 1,200 square feet. Smaller spaces can work on a weekly or bi-weekly frequency. Contact us with your details and we'll tell you honestly if it makes sense.
How does the cleaning crew access our facility?
Most accounts use a key drop with a signed key log, or a keypad entry code. We document all access credentials internally, restrict access to the assigned crew, and return keys promptly if the contract ends. We don't copy keys without written permission.
What happens if something is missed during a cleaning visit?
Contact us the same day if possible. We will have the crew return to address the missed item, or credit the next invoice depending on the situation and your preference. Our scope document establishes exactly what is expected each visit, which makes accountability clear.
Do the same people clean our office every time?
Yes. We assign a crew lead and a crew to each account. You'll know who they are before the first visit. If the crew lead changes for any reason, we notify you before it happens, not after.
Are you insured? Can you provide a certificate?
Yes. We carry general liability insurance appropriate for commercial cleaning operations and are bonded. A certificate of insurance is included with your written quote. See our Insured & Bonded page for details on coverage.
Do you clean medical or dental offices?
Yes, for standard commercial cleaning tasks: lobby and reception, restrooms, corridors, and administrative office areas. If your practice requires clinical disinfection protocols (exam rooms, procedure areas, instrument handling areas), that requires a specific scope conversation, as the methods and products differ from standard office cleaning.
How long does a contract last?
We offer month-to-month agreements for most accounts. We don't require annual contracts for standard recurring service. If you want to lock in a rate for 12 months, we can accommodate that too.
What do you do about Minnesota winters?
Winter floor care is built into our standard scope for accounts with hard-floor entries. From October through April, lobby and corridor entry zones get specific attention: mat management, damp mopping to capture salt and sand, and periodic scrubbing to prevent salt haze from bonding to LVT or tile.
How quickly can you start?
After the walkthrough and scope sign-off, we can typically start within two weeks. Some accounts start sooner depending on crew availability. Contact us and we'll give you an honest timeline.
